Well...Cafe Vittoria didn't disappont this morning. Quite charming surroundings, antique coffee machines scattered around the place. I think the one with the eagle on top must be the good one? Lol!

We then joined a Hop on Hop Off Tour around Boston. Our first Hop Off was Fenway Park. Not being baseball fans, we joined a tour to see what the fuss was all about. Had a great hour touring this hallowed ground and listening to a Bostonian.

I guess its like Lords to cricket, or the MCG to AFL, or the old Lang Park to Queensland rugby league followers. Lots of history and atmosphere. You can virtually feel the excitement.....feel the tension...smell the sweat...eewww.

Then onto MIT (Massachussets Institute of Technology). What a great place! Located in the town of Cambridge. Home of the internet, the web, Artificial Intelligence and so on. We also visited the MIT museum. Thank goodness the girls weren't inclined in coming here to study. It would set you back about US$60 000...a year in fees alone.

Along the way learnt some history, saw some great Boston sights, and generally enjoyed Boston. Quite a different feel to New York City.

And thats it for the day. Early mark, more italian food.....no TV, will watch YouTube instead. More sight seeing tomorrow.

Oh..trivia.....

Did you know that there are 85 ....yes...85 Dunkin Donuts locations in Boston alone? Doesn't say much for their taste in coffee nor donuts does it now?!!

Hi mum. Usually at night. Instead of reading, I write and try to remember the interesting stuff as well as the mundane. Hope your travels are going well too. Mexico sounded like a hoot!
