Today was a beautiful day to ski. The sun was out, there wasn't much wind, the weekend crowds were gone and the snow conditions were good. I explored parts of the mountain I hadn't made it to before. I'm not sure whether I've been to all of the areas I can get to without walking or taking a shuttle bus. It's a big area and it's hard to tell for sure.  There was an area across the street that I might have been able to get to via a bridge or tunnel.

I got in a bit over 8,000 vertical meters of skiing today. The increase over my previous days here is partially due to the good weather and partially due to being more knowledgeable about the mountain. That's more than I skied on previous days here and it compares well with many other places I've skied but I've gotten spoiled being able to average roughly twice that amount of skiing per day at Keystone.

Today was my last day here.  Tomorrow I head back to Tokyo and then the following day I catch a plane to Harin, China to go see the Harbin Ice Festival.
