I packed up, hiked to the dock, found a place to leave my pack and went to the lodge to sign up for a ranger-lead boat trip to Lookout Louise aboard the MV Sandy. Fortunately, the seas were calmer than yesterday as we went around Scoville Point into Tobin Harbor.
It's a pleasand walk to Lookout Louise and I enjoyed being with the ranger and being able to get questions answered. The view from Lookout Louise is nice. We headed back down the same trail, got on the boat and went back to the lodge.
I went to the Greenstone Grill restaurant at the lodge for lunch. I then caught the Isle Royale Queen IV back to Copper Harbor. While it was much calmer than yesterday, it was still rough enough to upset many of the people onboard.
When we got back to Copper Harbor I drove over and checked in at the hotel I had stayed in before going to Isle Royale.
