I checked out of my hotel in the Boston area and headed for Providence, RI. I'm here to see the Capitol but it's closed on Sundays. I decided to go to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Museum.
I know that some furniture artists have worked at RISD and was hoping their collection would include a lot of studio furniture. There were nice pieces by Wharton Esherick and Alfonse Mattia but not as many furniture pieces as I had hoped. Even though there were not very many studio furniture pieces, I still enjoyed the museum.
I left the museum and found a room for the night.
