I visited the Portland Museum of Art today. It's a small museum with a wide-ranging collection including works from the 18th century to the present covering most of styles from that period. While they don't have any iconic pieces, they seem to do a good job covering such a wide range ot art.
There were a number of pieces I liked. They allow photography and I intended to get pictures of them but, unfortunately, you can't photograph everything. It turns out, you can't photograph pieces that say no photography allowed on the label, which included nearly all of the pieces I liked.
After visiting the museum I drove to New Hampshire and got a room for the night.
