When I was hiking Borah Peak someone told me about a restaurant in Boise called Goldie's, which won an award from Bon Appetit a few years ago as one of the 10 best places for breakfast in America. It seemed like a good place to continue my restaurant tour. I know a couple people in Boise that I camped with last year at the "A Shack of Sit" theme camp at Burning Man. I planned to see them while I was in town. Breakfast at Goldie's seemed like a good choice and they agreed. We caught up on the past year and had a pleasant brunch. I don't know that Goldie's is one of the 10 best places for breakfast in the country, but I enjoyed my Breakfast Burrito. One of them isn't able to make it to Burning Man this year but I'll be seeing the other person again in just a couple weeks when we both return to Black Rock City.
