We packed up and headed across Froze-to-Death Plateau. Since we were only going to cover about three miles, I thought it was going to be an easy day; I was wrong. The Plateau was covered with patches of snow, wet areas and patches of sorted stones so the walking was far from easy.
We reached an area near the foot of Tempest Mountain and set up camp. From the edge of the Plateau near our camp I could finally get a good view of Granite Peak.
