Unlike last year when I drove to Alaska, I didn't have a car. Since it would have been difficult to get around Fairbanks without one I spent most of the day at the B&B. After my time in the bush it was nice to get back to the really important modern marvels: screens, hot water, indoor plumping, furniture. I certainly enjoy seeing things out in the wild but I can't say I enjoy the "roughing it" part.
