I woke up early on Saturday and called Island Packers to check the status of their trips to Channel Islands National Park. They were all cancelled due to high winds and rough seas. My reservation for Sunday was for a trip to the Scorpion Anchorage on Santa Cruz Island but since I was re-routed there Friday I went to Island Packers' office and changed it to a reservation for Prisoners Harbor on Santa Cruz Island instead. I then went to the Channel Islands Visitor Center to see their displays and watch a movie about the park. I then found a laundromat. When my laundry was done I went back to my hotel room and tried to catch up on some things I've been wanting to get to for a while. Unfortunately, my internet connection is bouncing up and down, mostly likely as a result of the winds, making it difficult to get anything done.
All trips on Sundaywere cancelled , as well. I spent the day at the hotel. The internet connection was still terrible so I spent most of the day reading.
