I intended to go to some of the gardens in Golden Gate Park today but it was cold, windy and rainy and the prospect of walking around outside wasn't very appealing so I went computer shopping instead. The laptop I've been traveling with has had lots of problems and runs very slowly. I couldn't take it anymore.
I drove to the hotel I booked in San Francisco for tonight, left my car and walked to a nearby Best Buy. A couple hours later I walked out with a new Dell laptop. By the time I got back to the hotel it was late enough I could check in. I went to my room and started the process of setting up the computer, loading software and updates, etc. What an improvement.
