I spent a day recuperating in Tuscayan and then headed for Little Finland in Nevada. It's a little known location with some interesting rock formations on BLM land. I had a couple different sets of directions. Between the two of them I was able to locate it.
The site is roughly a half mile long and just a couple hundred yards wide situated along a steep ridge. I arrived a couple hours before sunset. It's supposed to be a good site to photograph late in the day and the lighting was good but I could have used some time to scout out the area first. It also didn't help that my feet were still very sore from my Grand Canyon hike. I hiked around taking pictures until the sun went down. I then went back to the car and got ready for bed.
