It was a rather uneventful day today. I checked out of my hotel in Talkeetna, stopped by the guide company's office to pick up some things and then headed for Denali National Park. I went to the Visitor Center, watched the movie, spoke to a ranger and visited the book store. Then I went to my hotel in Healy and checked in.

The hotel has no Internet service so I have to use my Verizon wireless service. As usual, the service is terrible. Speedtest.net shows ping times of up to 2,327 milliseconds, download speeds of 0.03 Mb/sec. and upload speeds of 0.01 Mb/sec. I don't know how they can get away with calling something less than half the speed of dial-up service "high-speed".
