I was slow getting moving this morning. I have a cold and it didn't help that it's another cold, foggy, rainy day here in Alaska. I eventually got moving and went to the Pratt Museum, which has exhibits about a wide range of subjects of local interest including natural history, native cultures,art, fishing, marine ecology and the Exxon Valdez oil spill. They also have a live remote video of the bears at Katmai National Park but it wasn't working. I'll be able to see it in person in a couple days.

I then went to the Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center, which has exhibits and movies about the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge.

Then I went back to my hotel and tried to get caught up on things like back up pictures, etc. before heading to Katmai National Park where I'm sure I'll fill lots of flash cards.
