In the morning I headed for the Indiana Capitol Building. I arrived in time for the noon tour. The tour started late because they were waiting for a group to arrive. The group turned out to be a couple of bus loads of 4th graders and their chaperones.

The tour took longer than expected; they give the student groups a longer tour since they feel they have to teach them something since it's a school trip. My parking meter ran out before the tour was over so I had to rush out and feed the meter the last of my change. I went back and took a few pictures until I was, again, out of time and I had to leave. The Capitol is a nice building with an impressive stained glass dome over the Rotunda.

I thendrove to Springfield, Illinois and found a hotel for the night.
