This is my first update since the beginning of my trip to Germany, but believe me, I have many pictures and stories to tell when I get back to Reims. Anyways, I am in Leipzig right now, but I was also in Stuttgart, Munich and Salzburg (Austria).
First of all, let me tell you how beautiful Germany is based on my observations of the cities I visited. Stuttgart was a good first impression on me; it felt like a very prosperous city with a high quality of life. I was amazed at the cleanliness of the city and the effectiveness of the transportation over here (this goes for all the transit systems in Germany as well). Everything is so well organized that it allows for easy access to anywhere. I guess it is a positive symptom of a pervasive sense of lawfulness that seems to encompass Germans in general. For example, Germans don't seem to jaywalk. Seriously. How can you go from Point A to Point B when you have to stop at all the red lights!? So, I got weird stares from some people who thought I was destroying German society. (Take it with a grain of salt; as you'll read later on, Germans are good people and they definitely know to party)
Anyways, when I got over the niceness of Stuttgart, there wasn't much else to do but shop and eat, so I was eagerly anticipating going to Munich. Speaking about eating, I fell in love with the supersized pretzels and bratwurst sausages during my stay, so you wouldn't believe how many were consumed for breakfast, lunch and dinner...and it's the easiest thing to order when you only know a couple words of German.
Anyways, my time is running out...I am going to Cologne tomorrow and getting a ride back home.

P.S.: Were you expecting some details about Oktoberfest? ;) Well, let me just give you what I wrote down in my notes: "Oktoberfest: Crazy beer-drinking party" Good enough? Hahaha, I will give you more details about it and my other adventures in a few days!
