Traveled to Phoenix to visit with Dave's sister. It's been far too long since we've seen her!  Great visit!

We stayed at the Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa AZ. It was the perfect place to stay as it was close enough to the city of Phoenix to visit family yet far enough away. We were the only campers at this park during our visit. The park ranger told us that it will begin to get busy in a few weeks as the temperatures drop in the area. We experienced 105-106 during our stay at this time in September. Janice told us that it had been 110 the week before. Thank heavens for air conditioning in the motorhome!

Picked up our daughters at the Phoenix airport and headed north after visiting with family. Unfortunately our two sons and daughter-in-law and girlfriend were not able to come at this time. Maybe next trip? I can only hope!
