This was our last full day and maybe my last post from Japan. That'll depend on what kind of Internet connection I find at Narita. :)
We originally planned to go to the pool after I got back from Tokyo, but Goichiro slept in until 11 am (after I woke him up) because the kids had a late night the night before, so we went to this train expo thing at a hotel near Shinagawa station (my aunt had free tickets and gave them to us). It featured scale models of all the Shinkansens and regular commuter trains, simulation games, hobbyists and their remote controlled trains and a booth where kids can dress in a train conductor uniform and get their photo taken (for 1000 yen!). And of course, there was a marketplace area where you can buy all kind of train related stuff. (including key rings that played the music at the different stations!)
Goichiro found it fun and maybe Chizuko kind of enjoyed it but I don't think it was worth what they were actually charging (over 1000 yen for an adult).
