Today we did not drive very many miles. We ran into some road construction on Hwy 287 south of Augusta, MT. Three motorcycles had passed us and shortly after that we saw them on the side of the road. One of the riders had lost control in a muddy construction and laid it down hard. We stopped to help. We couldn't do much but wait with them until help arrived and make sure traffic slowed down. The ambulance arrived and took him to
Great Falls Hospital. The other two were going to call friends to get his bike back to Canada.
We settled in for the night at the
Choteau City Park Campground in Montana.

Love the pictures, you two are really movin on. Can't wait to see the Alaska stuff. Always wanted to go there. I saw mt Rushmore as a kid and would like to go back. it was one of those ten minute stops Dad made along the way. We were headed to Seattle. Stopped in Wyoming too at some dinosaur museum, it was built on the side of the mountain and they were still excavating for dino bones. Is that where you were?? Don't remember its name.
