I had good rest last night. Must have been the rain on the roof. I didn't get up till almost 9 this morning. The sun was out and it looked like a very nice day for a ride. I was going to Ausable Chasm and High Falls Gorge. They are located within 10 miles of each other and about 95 miles from where I’m staying. I got a little over halfway there and decided to turn around. I’d been rained on most of the way so far and the sky was looking darker the further I went. I went through a few more showers on the way back. I’m glad I turned around, because now it’s pouring. I’ll try again tomorrow since I’m here till Friday.
I did get a couple of interesting pictures along the way. Oil tank installations really catch my eye for some reason. And the farm, looks like the guy is growing junk. Check out the bushes growing in the bed of the dump truck.
Guess I’ll read a book. Maybe "The Brothers Bulger" by Howie Carr. If you don’t know who Howie Carr is, ask Brooke.
