This is the first day of a two day trip to get out of Texas, and it always seems to take for ever.  San Angelo is also the las time I'll see trees and green grass for awhile.  It is also where my favorite Mother-in-Law lives, Gail.  My Precious is a very special person to me, and Gail is the reason.  The town is pretty and West Texas friendly.  It hosts a world famous lilly pad garden, and a branch of Texas Tech University.

I added a picture I took while visiting Teringua, TX in far west Texas.  The home is owned by a flatulant retired Marine with a good sense of humor.  It's the best name for any place in West Texas, and that's why I added it.

The RV park is right on the lake so there is almost always a breeze, and the shade from the Mexquite trees is always welcomed in the West Texas heat.  While here I'll treat us to a luscious hamburger, and have a nice visit with Gail.  Then, bright and early in the morning, I'm off to Clovis, NM.  This will be a 300 mile leg, and hot.  Area temps ar forcast to exceed 100.  I can't wait to get to the cool climate of Flagstaff in three more days.

The animals are adjusting to traveling again.  Aloysious keeps me in conversation while we're on the road so he will be someone I can listen to until My Precious takes her place on this trip.  Angus and Bartleby are still a little nervous, but will be better tomorrow.  Iris is always happy to travel.  Especially when she's riding bitch.  Seamus is just resigned to being in the trailer again.
