Epcot took its toll - we were exhausted on Saturday.  Everyone had also finished the books we had purchased, so the afternoon was spent driving the 30km to the nearest book store.  They offered 1/3 of the cover price back on books we returned which gave us about $20, but required us to spend at least double that in the shop (not difficult)  We left with $52 worth of books at an average $3 per book!!  Good thing we had a big car!

When we arrived in Orlando, we were supposed to exchange our Chrysler town & country for a smaller car.  When we saw the size of the compact (something akin to a Fiat Uno), we gave in to the salesmanship of the rental car person and took a luxury Cadillac ATS - a V8 that turned out to do what felt like gallons per mile rather than miles per gallon!!

Sunday we decided attend a church down the road, so we got into the car, drove out the car park and there we found that a local church was across the road.  So we literally drove the 10 m across the road and went in.
There were about 5 people inside....all hispanic...we suddenly realised we did not know what language the service was going to be in - Linda was quick on the draw and asked the first person she found whether this was an English or Spanish service - it was going to be 90% English phew...
We sat down.  A young man (about our age ah ah) approached "Hi I'm Sammy the Pastor"  "Hi I'm Wayne and we are the congregation..." was my response.  The service was supposed to start at 10:30am.  By 10:35am we were still the majority of the congregation.  By 10:45, the church has filled to about 50-60 people - mostly Puerto Rican.  The service was lively and loud, the preaching solid and we were made to feel at home. (We returned the following week as well, but we walked the 10m that time)

Mom on

We have similar problems in our church, sometimes. People are coming in at all stages of the service. We generally end up with a full church, though.....
