Tamarindo, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica

Tamarindo was our first stop in Costa Rica after, a place we fully intended to find surf, sun and fun! While we did find fun, we also found TONS of rain. Like heavy crazy rainforest type rain, the type that turns the streets into rivers and keeps you inside your hotel. We were not going to be stopped so easily though. We have travelled 6 hours on crowded bus to get to Tamarindo with high hopes to bodyboard some of Costa Rica´s best waves, and whether or not the sun was shining and the rivers were flowing sewage into the ocean, these things weren´t about to stop us. Well, we did go bodyboarding twice had a great time. But ultimately, it made sense for us to leave for drier ground.
