Moved hostels in the morning to the lovely & tranquil Santa Ana. Has a lovely hammock area with palm trees plotted in around the hostel. The showers worked & they were clean. The staff were so friendly & it was such a lovely safe haven for us to be staying in. To top off our day we found a swimming pool to lazy around next to a mirador with views over Rurre & Beni River. Great cocktails, amazing weather, great company & some lovely fresh food, seriously what more do you want???? Our plan was to spend the next 2 days trying to make a decision about which tour company we were going to go with & whether we were going to go to the wetlands or the jungle.

Days are just getting better in Rurre as this morning we discovered a french bakery so before we headed to the pool we stocked up on some goodies. This did make a change from the banana bread man who is an American guy living there for some time & makes yummy treats (including amazing banana bread) for 50 pence each. He is also convinced that the American government are looking for him & thinks that the Da Vinci code is ridiculous. Back to the pool & we finally made a decision to do The Pampas Trip in the wetlands. The Swiss guy that owned the pool has organised some locals to assist us through some virgin jungle on his property tomorrow.
