  2 March.

Completely refreshed after our five day break we headed back to PP the same way we had come. We had some serious traveling in the weeks to come so it made sense to have a holiday while we could. At one of the breaks the bus made on the way back to PP I had a pigs intestine sandwhich. I smelled like pork and it tasted like pork, if not a little chewy. Cathy wanted no part in it and said that I wouldn't have even looked at it 6 months ago, which is true. But food is food when you are hungry and I was hungry.
After our last stay in PP and the rat saga, Cathy decided to pick another hotel. This time it was the Hotel Salita. It was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay there. We spent our time visiting PP's markets. The markets here are fantastic and of course very very cheap. We first called into the Russian market. I was most pleased to find not a Russian in sight. I have over the years built up a loathing for miserable Russians. I find them to be ill mannered and on the whole down right rude. But that is just me I suppose. We had a good look around and I got myself a new T shirt. An Angkor Beer T shirt this time. We also picked up a Philippine guide book for a fraction of the price we would have got one anywhere else. As we walked back to the hotel after the market we called into a bar. We had a couple of beers and I got a taste for it so after dropping Cathy at the hotel I stayed out and had a few more.
The next day we visited the Central market and here we picked up an Indonesian guide book and you guessed it I bought another T shirt, this time a hard rock cafe Phnom Penh. From here we called into a supermarket and I got two cartons of Winston lights for 3.50 a carton!!! Well you can't afford not to smoke at price!!
Cathy and I both love Cambodia and the people here are so friendly and nice. The future for Cambodia is looking very bright and I wish them the best of luck, they deserve it.
We flew out the next day headed back to KL. We spent the night at an airport hotel and early the next morning we caught our flight to Clark in the Philippines.
