Here's the (bilingual) blog keeping you up to date with our progress, arguments, adventures and general nonsense as we wend our way around the world. Obviously, this will all depend upon our ability and motivation to keep posting updates. This will either be the first of many or the last one before Canada!!

Not sure why, but after all the packing (20 boxes and counting) the house is only just starting to feel a bit emptier.  Maybe we just have too much stuff and a spell of living out of a rucksack for almost a year will be good therapy (maybe Virg will return wanting a smaller wardrobe!)

It would be a shame to travel the world only to spend all our time internet cafes struggling with technoology and alien keyboard layouts whilst trying to learn to use the blog.  So this is a practice.  We've even managed to upload some pics and link to them from different places (hopefully).

It has been hectic over the last few weeks sorting out the house, packing, more packing and (the most pleasurable bit) seeing you all to say goodbye.  Hopefully this blog will improve as we get into more interesting places, airlifted from mountians (again) or simply get better at writing stuff.

In the meantime keep updated on our travels here and feel free to email us with your news whilst we're away.
