Frankfurt Change of Planes
Dear Readers:
Boarding the plane last night in Chicago I was delighted to see that my business class seat was on the upper deck of a 747-400. Another bonus was sitting next to a man who had absolutely no interest in even polite conversation. I was more than happy to cocoon and relax. I couldn't resist watching the movie "The Painted Veil" which I had missed last year. Stunning scenery of China, and a very enjoyable movie. That lasted through dinner, and then I got about 4 hours sleep.
In Frankfurt I search out my usual business lounge and enjoy a strong espresso. I have about an hour to kill between flights, and the cushy leather seats welcome my tired bones.
