I am so fortunate to have a daughter who has embraced a new way of living - in health consciousness, and in the vibration of unity and unconditional love, and doing positive actions for the planet. She is a radiant person to be around, and I always feel inspired when I am with her. We spend a delightful two hours at breakfast at a cute little cafe in Los Feliz called "Alcove" where the stars hang out (we saw Adina Porter, who plays Tara’s alcoholic mom in True Blood). After a large meal we take a wonderful hike in Griffith Park to work off some calories. Next we spend a few hours by the pool at my hotel.

Finally, another highlight of the day comes when I have the pleasure of meeting Aaron, the amazing man in her life. He has been trained in a multitude of healing techniques, including shamanistic rituals passed down from the Q'ero tribe of Peru, and I eagerly partake in a healing ceremony with him. It is a gift of total trust on the part of both of us, and we emerge from the experience strongly connected. What an amazing way to bond with someone who is so important to my daughter on our very first meeting!

We reunite with my daughter and go to dinner together at Café Gratitude. Aaron is a raw foods vegetarian, and this restaurant is just the place. My dinner has lots of ingredients I’ve never heard of before, but includes some seaweed and rice and quinoa. Very tasty! Walking to the car we pass a sign that says “Stop and think for a moment about somebody you love.” We all three stood there holding hands, and laughing and loving each other. What a gift!
