Because Georgetown is a listed UNESCO World Heritage City, they have an annual festival where the "streets come alive". Local merchants, artisans, hawkers, and dancers come out to showcase their specialties that make this diverse city truly special. We watched them flip roti dough, pour teh tarik, make batiks, do high pole lion dancing, and many other things. It was a really fun day/night getting to know our new favorite city a little better.
