 These pictures are some of the various beautiful Buddhist Temples we have visited around Penang.  We have been learning a lot about Buddhism (as well as Islam and Hinduism) throughout our travels and love the eastern connection to the spiritual world.  Buddhists are absolutely fine with anyone coming into their temples, lighting incense, saying a prayer or making "a wish" as they tell us to do, setting birds free (watch the video!) and giving helpful information.

Check out the pictures of the beautiful Kek Lok Si Temple with the large Kuan Yin statue, and stop by the turtle pond to watch them cannibalize each other....we did!
