Our time in Tassie has came to an end and it has been a fantastic 6 weeks with lots of lovely memories to keep. Our last few weeks we spent on the East coast and camping in the Bay of Fires National Park which has to be one of the best beaches in Australia (only if the weather and water was abit warmer), as we only had one good day on the beach there, but did some lovely drives from there and was in the area in time for the Great fishing competion held in St Helens over the long weekend, and saw some big fish been weighed in at the end of the day. But silly us thought the weigh in had finished and headed back to camp and as we drove past saw the really huge fish on the scales. Anyway we will have to catch our own huge ones when we get up to Queensland. We had acouple of days with Chris's cousin Laurie just out of Lauceston and where shown around the area and had some lovely meals with them, before we headed to the North west for our last week and on the way stopped at a couple of Cheese Factory to try and buy some of the great cheese of tassie, so while we have been in Tassie we have had death by Chocolate and Cheese, and now it is time to lose some weight. We didn't have much luck with the weather the last few days when were on the coast as it turned windy and rainy (and everyone will be glad that we bought the rain back with us). And we nearly ended the trip with a disaster with the car, when we were driving back from looking at another of the wonderful waterfalls I decided we would get some more of the great blackberries that are growing everywhere on the side of the road, i had seen a nice lot and reversed back to them and next minute we were in a large hole on the side of the road and tryed to get it out ourselfs and it got worse, so i walked down the road to get help from the local farmer and his tractor to get out of it, and then to make matters worse when we got back to camp the tent had blown down with the wind. So that was the end of trip to Tasmania and now we are back in Warrandyte for awhile maybe to after easter then we will be slowly heading up the east coast.
