Recall I did a recent entry on the terrific value high quality food stalls at Thanin Market in CHong Pheauk.

I went there on Friday and there were about 10 farangs, which is 9 more that usual. My favorite stall was closed for Songkran (noodle soup girl with the green rubber band on her braces), as was my 2nd favorite (the kow soy place), so I ordered chicken soup at a stall I had never eaten at before.

It was a prepackaged mix of such saltiness I could not eat the broth.  When I went to pay the sign said chicken dishes 30 baht, seafood 35.  She charged me 60.  I argued in Thai to no avail.  I decided that  the 30 baht lesson was worth it and paid ini full.  Not even rudimentary Thail language was enough to save me.

So herer are pics of the offending stand and staff.  If you eat there don't blame WM.
