The departure date is looming ever closer and I'm still trying to ignore it, like the empty bags stashed away in my cupboard waiting to be filled, the unbought souvenirs for my family, and the untouched language books hidden somewhere beneath a pile of dirty clothing.
The day before I leave is going to be one hell of a rush.
But what a wonderful way to start a trip!
I've done a little research and it turns out I am in fact going back to Australia! From Sydney to Helsinki is approx. 15185.65 km (8199.60 miles) and the Earth being 12,756.32 kilometers (7,926.41 miles) means I'm going to be flying more than halfway around the world.
Oh the joys of aeroplane food!
