Weather was fine for 30 minutes after we woke up. Next time we looked out the window it was just drizzle. Decided to go to the Residence Museum after meeting another of Alice's work colleagues, Max, for a coffee and cake  at the Tambosi café.
We walked to the Residence, which up till 1918, was where the kings of Bavaria lived and now a museum. Kids had the same attitude, "Just old stuff". But they certainly knew how to live, gold everywhere. Walked around the grounds for a while and decided it was time for lunch.
Travis insisted on going to the Hofbrauhaus, so as a respecting father, I had to give in to his wishes and take him. I, myself ,would not have gone there on my own accord but what my children want they get. Sometimes I think I spoil my children. Place was again backed with people having lunch and the band were playing in the background. Great atmosphere. Ordered our drinks and decided to share Pork Knuckle's, Alice's favourite when she is here. A great time and  meal was had by all. Thanks to Travis for dragging me there.
Another walk up town then a walk to Kathryn's house as we were invited for pizza. Took the wrong street and got lost but soon found our way. Another nice evening with the kids playing with William and the adults having pizza & beer as you do in Germany.
Now raining when we left. Caught the U2, train, home. Transport is getting easier, just in time for us to leave.
Weather not looking good until Friday, we leave Thursday night, so not sure what we will  be doing tomorrow.
As for the people who complained about me saying bye last night, Paul, it was because I could not spell Auf Wiedereshen and did not ant to embarrass myself . Hope that explains that.

Hi Rach, Travis and the Connelly clan! This is 5/6A and we hope you are having a great time. It certainly sounds like an amazing time. We have had a great 2 week break and are now in the middle of week 2. We are studying Life's a Beach and Bali this term. We have organised the year 6 Mini Fete = Rach you are on the Beauty Salon, Travis you can choose when you return from a few options.
We had the whole school recognition ceremony yesterday. Thorpe won the Athletics Carnival. Oneil came 2nd, Freeman came third and Waugh came 4th (boo hoo from Mrs B).
In Science we made Floating Squids which tested water density and we had a great time. We have all done our term 4 reading test and most of us improved, which is awesome. Tom wants to tell Travis that they won their first 2 basketball games -Yay.
Looking forward to seeing you back soon. Safe travels and have fun.
ciao ciao, 5/6A
