Well the snow let us down and did not eventuate. But it was cold enough to. Temperature has dropped to around 2 to 3 degrees. Just enough warm clothes we hope to last but a beanie and gloves would not go astray.
Caught the underground to the Deutshes museum around 9:30 this morning. Big place with lots of big exhibits. Lots to see & do but kids a bit disappointed not more like Questacon in Canberra. But overall a good day was had by all. Did notice one thing though. Have not had peanut butter, which I love, since arriving in Europe. Have not seen it anywhere. Noticed in one of the space exhibits that they take it into space with them but still I can't buy it here. Nothing major but what can I say
Went to Rudi & Kathryn's, a couple who also work at Munich Re, place for pre dinner drinks. Went to a little  local pub for dinner. Very nice indeed. Then back for more drinks and for the kids to have a play with their children, William & Beatrix. Caught the train back home & in the unit by 9:30 watching Germany play Ireland in the soccer.
Not sure what we will do tomorrow, depends on the weather. Was thinking of going to Garmish in the south, Germanys highest mountain, but they have had 35 centimetres of snow and all roads are closed. Schools are closed there because trees are falling over due to snow as the leaves have not fallen as yet. So may miss that one for the time being.
Cioa for now
