Saturday: We decide to go the New Years eve San Francisco symphony orchestra masked ball. With Sam's help we rent a tux for Walter. She also does alterations - and provide cuff links and shoes. She gives me good advice - try Macy's sale for an outfit for me. Better than renting.

I manage to get a evening jacket with sparkle on the lapels and a Calvin Klein satin blouse.

We walk through San Francisco - up Nobbs Hill to Grace cathedral. With a 7 day pass we take a street car back to Fisherman's warf.
