One of the best aquariums I have ever been to is the Monterey Bay Aquarium. If you ever get a chance, do not miss it! It's absolutely incredible!  I couldn't rave enough about it. It's situated right on the water and you can walk Cannery Row to get there. It's a great walk actually, with lots of interesting history along the way.

We walked passed the marina and all along the shore were the seals, singing their songs, gleefully & lazily lounging on the rocks and in the water. So funny! Ar-ar-ar-ar-ar-arrrrrrrrrrr!! That's all you hear from them! They are so playful.....and FAT!  We actually went out to the marina once at night and got to see some fairly close up. They thrive all along the coastline and we saw them all along our drive to San Duego.

They have live web cams  where you can take a look at some of the wildlife and other exhibits as well. They have several excellent aquarium exhibits including; kelp forest, sea otters, giant octopus, sandy shores, sharks and rays, and my personal and all time favourite exhibit ever, Jellies; Living Art.
