Woke and decided that a drive would be the thing today. Leon decided that the couch needed someone to sit on it again.

So I headed off for drive and came across a Loch of all things. Loch Achilty very pretty. Drove along further and came across Corrieshalloch Gorge at Braemore, a breathtaking mile-long gorge, 61 m deep. The river plunges 46 m over the Falls of Measach. There is a suspension bridge which I bravely crossed - it moved - so a bit daunting. Walked down the side of the gorge and came across a small viewpoint. Awesome, wandered back up and back over the bridge.

Drove on and then strangely for Scotland I came across more water. Black water, really dark, dark river and falls. Another suspension bridge but not nearly as high up.

Great views nearby - down the valley to Ullapool.

Decided then to head back and catch up with the sloth on the couch - yep - he was still there.

Early night - the drive had been great. I hadn't needed any directions as it was one straight road there and back. Yay
