The flight left on time at 2305 and due to the flight time to NZ (13hrs), the time differences involved and the international date line when I landed in NZ at 400 (their time) it was the 15th. I had missed Valentine's Day completely which I found quite ironic! My final flight was at 715 which left half an hour late so I landed in
Brisbane 830. My brother Darren and friends Sean and Anthony were waiting for me which was really nice (although not quite the reception I had imagined and been hoping for all those months ago where all I had wanted to do was get back to Susie and hold her). Told a few stories but Ant and Sean had to get to work and so Darren took me home. I'm very happy to be back but
Brisbane feels pretty cold and lonely too. Damn it, I miss Susie so much! Oh well, I'll get used to that, it's not like I have a choice about it!! What the frick happens next?? Guess I'll chill for a few days, start looking for a job and then I start putting all those plans and self improvements I've thought of while away into action. Travel isn't just about the places you see, it's also about how it changes you and I guess that's one of the main reasons I went away, to decide what to change about my life. Thanks for following my adventures guys, it's been amazing!! Love to every single one of you!!
