Tok to North Pole - Day Eight

Just 20 miles past Tok, Alaska is Yerrick Creek. Imagine that! Val's mother was a Yerrick. Val has Yerrick relatives. Gosh, maybe Val has relatives here in Alaska, and doesn't even know it. It's not much of a creek as creeks go, but it's a Yerrick nonetheless.

About 70 miles from Tok we see a moose by the side of the road, and then we see a red fox, then another moose. Sorry no pictures.

Delta Junction is mile 1422 of the Alcan. The last mile. Of course Dave had to stop, and they made me pose by the monument to the last mile, and then again to have my picture taken so that it looks like I am being bitten by a monster mosquito. Ok, lots of laughs, lets get back on the road. The things I do for these two!
