As always we started quite late. A nice gravel road led us into the hills where we could see the snow covered peaks of Aconcagua and other high mountains. In the following valley of Calingasta the road continued as a sand road. The sand wasn*t deep and we reached Barreal easily and enjoyed a warm autumn evening in the garden of the hostel.
