Just a quick entry to update you on our Christmas festivities: it is cold and windy and rainy today, so you can stop feeling jealous! Everything is shut tight and it took us lots of walking to find a locutorio (phone and internet shop). Good thing we have stocked up on lots of red wine and treaties in the hotel room.
Everything is fine with us, although it is a bit of a surreal Christmas to be hot, sunny then humid and warm, and no snow or ice in sight.
Not much to do today except take it easy, walk around a bit and maybe take in a film if anything is open later. We may try to leave for Uruguay tomorrow depending on the ferry service.
