Nosso voo saiu de Miami e chegou em Cancún sem atrasos. De lá tomamos um busão de viagem (1h) até Playa del Carmen. A rodoviária fica do lado da praia. Impressionante vista, a cor do mar azul quase que nos fez repensar e ficar por lá, mas seguimos em outro buso (1) até Tulum.
Tulum é uma cidade pequena, tem uma rua principal ondem estão todas as lojas, hoteis e restaurantes. e na beira da praia estão os resort. A gente ficou no centro, na Posada Luna del Sur. Bem legal o quarto, com uma mini-cozinha e tudo, por $70 USD. Os donos do hotel são canadenses, muito bacanas, deram várias dicas do que fazer, onde ir e dos melhores restaurantes na região. Terminamos o dia com um delicioso jantar no restaurante El Capitan. A Tine comeu fajitas vegetarias e eu Tacos Pirata ( peixe e camarão) eles tinham uma cerveja Victoria, da mesma empresa que a Corona que fechou o dia bem.

Day 1 - Yuca-Trekers arrive in the peninsula
Our flight left Miami and arrived in Cancun without delay. From there we took a bus trip (1h) to Playa del Carmen. The bus station is located beside the beach. Impressive view, the color of the blue almost made us rethink and stay there, but we took another bus (1h) to Tulum.
Tulum is a small town, has a main street with shops, hotels and restaurants and the beach with resorts. We stayed in the center, at Posada Luna del Sur. Pretty cool the room with a kitchenette and all for $ 70 USD. The hotel owners are Canadian, very nice, gave several tips on what to do, and the best restaurants in town. We finished the day with a delicious dinner at the restaurant El Capitan. Tine ate fajitas vegetables and I ate Pirate Tacos (fish and shrimp) and beer Victoria, the same company that Corona, that ended the day well.
Dia 2 - Ruinas e praia
Acordamos cedo (08 h), tomamos um café rápido na pousada e fomos direto para as ruinas de Tulum. A primeira impressão é muito boa, o lugar esta bem organizado, com uma maquete na entrada, uma série de lojas de artesanatos e afins. Ao entrar no complexo das ruinas, realmente um fica impressionado como a civilização Maya, em 900 A.D. tinha tamanho avanços tecnológicos e arquitetônicos. E a localização que eles escolheram, não poderia ser melhor, ruinas pre-colombianas em umas das praias mais lindas do mundo. A combinação é realmente fantástica. Depois de visitar todas as ruinas do complexo de Tulum, fomos para praia que esta ai mesmo. Foi uma experiência inesquecível, estar na praia, olhar para o lado e ver essas construções maravilhosas. Terminamos a noite comendo tacos numa barrraquina na rua, tinha até taco de folha de cactos!!
Day 2 - Ruins and beach
Up early (08 h), had a quick breakfast at the hotel and went straight to the ruins of Tulum. The first impression is very good, the place is well organized, with a model at the entrance, a number of handicraft shops and the like. Upon entering the complex of ruins, really impressed how the Maya civilization, in 900 AD had large architectural and technological advances. And the location they chose could not be better, pre-Columbian ruins on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The combination is really fantastic. After visiting all the complex ruins of Tulum, we went to this beach right there. It was an unforgettable experience, the beach, look to the side and see these wonderful buildings. We ended the night eating tacos on the street, even cactus ones!
Dia 3 - Grand Cenote
Infelizmente a previsão do tempo dessa vez estava certa, desde a noite do dia anterior, e durante todo esteve chovendo. Fomos para um cenote (Grand Cenote) foi bem refrescante nadar e ver as cavernas submarinas. Depois fomos no centro olhar os artesanatos e lojas.
Day 3 - Grand Cenote
Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and a little rainy.We went to a cenote (Grand Cenote) was very refreshing swim and see the underwater caves. Then we looked at craft shops and ate dinner.

Cara, depois de toda a correria para tirar féria, eu pensei que vocês fossem chegar no lugar, enfiar os pés descalços no laguinho, abrir uma long neck (ou um suco de clorofila) e tirar o dia de folga. Que pique, hein!
