We approached the foothills of the mountains and started to climb. I LOVE western Montana. The views from the train were breathtaking. We were so happy to be going through this area in the day light, looking down on fast moving streams winding through plush green valleys, and surrounded by mountains of evergreens. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

We had dinner - and we laughed about it being time to eat again!
Dinner: Spinach lasagna, green beans, dinner roll, coffee. Larry had chicken, vegetable, baked potato and dinner roll.. Of course we had dessert!! I had the small cup of chocolate Hagandaz and Larry had the Peanut Butter Pie he'd grown so fond of.
Dinner Companions: MaryAnn and Kurt, 2 teachers from Wisconsin, going to Seattle for a week vacation.
