Wow, I can't believe it...I've nearly been here a month and its nearly all over!

On Monday we had four new volunteers arrive, so there's 7 of us here at the moment and it feels a little overcrowded. It's weird but it makes you feel very protective over the children when new people arrive. Time to sit back abit though and let them all settle in. I really hope that as volunteering is new to GSV (Good Samaritan Vision), it doesn't spoil them in the long run. I guess I'm just a bit worried that the magic will be lost...the magic being the childrens genuine happiness.

It's been exam time at school, so I've been spending most days just sat in the classroom making sure that there is no cheating going on. I feel like an proud mother, excited waiting to see how they all get on! Got to wait a couple more days though - they have said they will hurry it along so I find out before I go home...anyway, thats a taboo subject!!

Today was my last day working in the orphanage with Mnyazi and I managed to get a double helping of sifting the rice - its the little things in life! I certainly will miss the days of just sitting having a little chat with tea and then doing a few little jobs in between.

A few days ago, I thought it would be nice to get the children to draw or write in a travel diary I've been keeping. Here's a few examples...the messages are so lovely and bringing a lump to my throat.

Well, only 2 days left...Mwasaha was trying to get me to stay another month! I feel the next entry may be a weepy one, so to end today's on a happier note, I've attached a couple of clips of the kids introducing themselves. Enjoy.........
