Well, folks, it's official, I have a place to stay when I arrive in London! A friend of mine has a friend in London, and that friend's brother's friend will be letting me stay with him for a few days. Yay! I also have arranged for a place to stay for at least a couple of days in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am aiming at arriving there around Aug 20 for the Fringe Festival. I sent out several emails last night to people from www.couchsurfing.com and have already received an invitation to crash on a couch. Yippee!!! See? It's all coming together and working out, just like I said it would! ; ) Thank you so much to my generous hosts, I very much look forward to meeting you!

In other official news, yesterday was my last day of work at Austin BodyWorks (www.austinbodyworks.com). I've been with the company since before they opened their doors, and it was certainly sad to say goodbye after 2 1/2 years. I wish the very best for Eric and Nha and all of their team members, my work family. I'll miss you guys!

As the day draws very near, I'm still feeling quite calm and relaxed about this whole thing. On Friday, at one point I realized that I only had two days of work left, and my stomach tightened up and went "AAAACK!," but it only lasted about 3 seconds and then I was calm again. It's wonderful to be so sure that what I am doing is right, and to be able to trust in the Universe that everything will work out just fine, nay, better than fine! = )

One last little tidbit, I bought a map of London yesterday, along with a guidebook for Europe (I went with the Rough Guide, because it seemed to be the one that gave me the most useable information, and it's smaller than the others...) I feel much better about arriving in London now, as I will have some sense of where I am in relation to everything else. The guidebook also has the contact info for all of the US embassies in Europe, which saved me having to research to find that info. Yay!

One last thing (really this time), my car is still for sale and I leave Wednesday, so if you know anyone who might want to buy it....

Ok, that's it for now, much to do!

Thanks for reading!

= )
