Time has flown! I can't believe that tomorrow we'll be boarding a plane to leave! I don't even want to think about it. This morning we had set up to go shopping, so Christian came to get us.. with his mother! She is so crazy! We went to the outskirts of Rome to the C. C. La Romanina. I didn't have much to shop for so I stayed back with Christian and his mom Giusefine (sp?). She bought me breakfast, then we went to a grocery store in the mall and she bought me a chocolate pie, mini pizzas and a coffee cup. We then drove her back to their house. It didn't look like a big deal from the outside, but the inside was beautiful! The dining room was just like I like things... complete with a piano, of course. After saying our good-byes to her, we met up with the rest of the group at the church. From the we went to some sulfur springs. This was a first for many in our group, so it was funny to see the reactions to the smell and the burning sensation of the water on the skin. We ate lunch there and just hung out for the afternoon. I got a great tan and enjoyed the swimming!

We went to the church for supper. It was delicious! I ran out to the florist before they closed shop and got some roses for Rosy then went back to the church to enjoy some more fellowship. It was fun but the majority of the time, we were holding back tears. We had a final meeting. All of out Italian hosts, hostesses and friends were there. We all gave thanks and testimonies. Everyone was in tears, even Steven and John Michael! It was one of the most bittersweet moments in my life! I hate goodbyes and I don't like people to see me cry either!

Finally our time was over and we headed back to our houses that became homes to us. I gave our family the flowers and some chocolates then went to bed with a growing hole in my heart and tried to get some much-needed sleep...
