Week 14 cont…4/06/2012 – 6/06/2012

I arrived at a small town called Cesky Kromlov at about 11:30am and checked into my hostel. My hostel was a nice little cosy place situation in the centre of town (even though it's a very small town). After checking in I walked around town for a little while and then grabbed some lunch. The restaurants and café’s all looked great. It was a fairly small town and it is possible to see everything in one day. I walked around after lunch just around town and all the small back ally streets. I then walked to the castle where there was a great view of the town and a very nice garden. At the castle they had an underground passage where there was a museum display of a certain sculptures...I bought a ticket and went in only to see the underground passage...this was pretty cool...the sculptures were really strange...I took photos of the funny ones which Im not going to upload hehehe
By the time I walked around and saw just about everything in town I grabbed some dinner and then headed back to the hostel where I relaxed for the rest of the evening and chatted to my other hostel roomy all night. She was another Australian who was traveling for the next two months…and had probably traveled just about everywhere you can think of.

The next day I was supposed to go white water rafting with some friends I made on the bus on the way to Cesky Krumlov. I met up with my friends and then bailed on white water rafting hehehe... the weather was about 4 degrees and raining. My mates still ended up going and said it was great fun even though it was extremely cold. I think all the drinking kept them numb hehehe. I regretted not going after everyone boasted about how great it was. Ohh well.

Instead of rafting I ended up grabbing some breakfast with the girls and chilling at cafes and watching movies for the rest of the day. Cesky Krumlov is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the old style, relaxed atmosphere. I really enjoy just hanging out at cafes and restaurants.

The next day I packed my bags and checked out ready for my next destination to Vienna. The bus was coming at 11:30 so I left my bags and just did some window shopping until it was time to go.

Check out week 15 - Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Greece
