Today I saw again the China Town, the historic center and then two very interesting museums: the Baba Nonya house made by rich ethnic Chinese married to Malaysian women, with a very special decoration made of inlaid furniture and beautiful objects, what a pity that it was not allowed to take pictures, but I've tried and I've been yelled at, then another museum with the history of Ho Cheng, a China fleet commander and Admiral that in 1400 made7 long trips in Asia and maybe discovered America before Columbus.
Then on the advice of a friendly local family who sat at the bar along the river at the same my table, I walked along a central street until I meet two beautiful churches of the colonial time: St. Francis Xavier and St. Peter, and then the Villa Seporna where one of the last descendants of the family, an old man of 75 years has shown the details of the house and did do a lot of photos to three friendly Japanese and me.
But the best thing was then to return to the center along the river and found a nice walk and houses with murals and graffiti very special.
I then finished to a huge shopping mall where besides enjoying the air conditioning, I bought a suitcase for 40 euros since the auction of my trolley was broken and forced me to a labor
for his unlikely move.
Tonight I will do a boat cruise along the river after a dinner at some nice restaurant.
I'm really enjoying Malacca and I'll stay here one more day, removing it from Kuala Lumpur which is probably less interesting
