Hello Everybody

We are back from our adventures in the jungle and what a great time we had. We stayed in bamboo huts with no electricity and ate many traditional dishes which were for the most part very good. Some of the wildlife we encountered include caymens, giant otters, macaws, cakiberas, a snake, monkeys, numerous birds and crazy looking insects. We took alot of pictures that we can share upon our return.

We are now in Cusco, the ancient Inca capital. We are all adjusting to the altitude change fairly well, we could feel it yesterday but mildly. Today, we donīt really feel it at all. We had a day tour of the sacred valley of the incas today which included stops at numerous archeological sites which were pretty amazing. We are learning lots about the ancient people of the inca. Tomorrow we start our trek on the Inca trail towards Machu Pichu. On that note, I need to go back and pack as we leave at 6 tomorrow morning. I am very excited and canīt wait to get going. I will post another update upon our return from trekking either Sunday or Monday. Until then Go Oilers!!!!!

Sounds like you're having fun!
Hi Andre and Gina,

Glad to hear everything is going well down there and you two are having fun. I understand how you feel about Sao Paulo, there are places like that in the Philippines too which have been good for a laugh but I always found myself checking to see if I still had my wallet.

Anyway, hope the trek has been fun. Shark isn't in season anymore but the duck is mighty tasty these days. GO OILERS!

Oilers win again
The Oilers had a 4-0 lead in game three. The Ducks came back to make it 4-3. Phil's hero scored to make it 5-3. The Ducks scored again to make it 5-4. Time ran out and with the win the Oil takes a 3-0 lead in the series. Whyte ave will be nuts. Go Oilers Go.
Hope all is well.
Coach
