Hi everyone, we made it to Sydney and are having a great time. We arrived early in the morning on Wednesday and Gina really wanted to go to the zoo so we made that our first stop after dropping our bags off at the hotel. We managed to find our way to the ferry docks and off we went. The top animals on Gina's agenda were the platypus and the koalas and we saw both. I wanted to see the penguins but they were not out and no wallabies wanted to fight so I was a little disappointed. Yesterday we did the Harbour Bridge climb which was celebrating its 80th anniversary. They really pumped it up as an exhilarating experience but I am sure I have put myself in more questionable places at work. The views were nice but the safety was over the top even for our standards. Yesterday evening we did a sunset dinner cruise in the harbour on a tall ship. The food was good, the bar was open and the view were fantastic so all in all it was a good time. They served us crocodile and kangaroo which were delicious.
Today we pick up our rental car and it is off to the Blue Mountains. Tomorrow we go caving!
